About the course:

This course offered publicly, on site or on line will give all participants a clear and comprehensive understanding of the requirement of the AS 9100:2016 management standard and how the requirements can be integrated into an organization’s day to day operations.  Through presentations, group discussions and exercises, all participants will learn the requirements of the AS 9100:2016 management standard and how to implement the requirements into the organizations business processes.

Overall Course Objectives:

• To provide an introduction to the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG)
• To provide an explanation of the seven (7) supporting Quality Management Principles
• To provide a basic understanding of the Process Approach
• To provide a basic understanding of the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) Methodology
• To provide a basic understanding of Risk Based Thinking to support an effective Quality Management System.
• To provide a thorough interpretation (clause by clause) of the AS9100:2016 (D) standard requirements
• To provide a basic understanding on performing a GAP Analysis to assist with the development and implementation of an AS9100D Quality Management System.

Pre-Requisite Requirements:

All participants should have somewhat of an understanding in quality management using the requirements of the AS9100D standard or past revision (e.g. AS9100C).

**Please note: These requirements are only suggested, however, not necessary!

Course Documentation:

All participants will receive a complete AS9100:2016 (D) Requirements course training manual and, upon successful completion, receive a Certificate of Achievement in AS9100D Quality Management System Requirements.
